Peppermint Foot Soak

This may be the most wonderful time of the year, but let me just say that it is super stressful! Having to keep up with the normal day-to-day things like laundry and work, on top of making sure that gifts are bought, decorations are out, parties are attended, Christmas goodies are baked, and carols are sung. PHEW. It is a wonderful, busy time of year!

 

Which is exactly why this festive foot soak could not have come at a better time! You can mix it up in a matter of minutes, and be treating yourself to a nice foot soak with a cup of hot coco in no time. While you’re at it, you might as well put on your favorite Christmas movie and make a night of it! Everyone could use just a little relaxing during this hectic season.

Mix up this peppermint foot soak and be relaxing in just minutes!

So here’s what you’ll need (you probably already have this stuff!):

1 cup baking soda

2 cups Epsom salt

12 or so peppermint tea bags

From this point, you just mix everything together and you’re all set! All that’s left to do is to put a couple spoonfuls into some warm water, and let the relaxation begin. Your feet will thank you! This batch makes enough for you to do plenty of foot soaking over the next few weeks… or months. (Or maybe you want to include some of this great stuff in a gift, with say… some DIY peppermint sugar scrub and a warm blanket?)
